Science Spree – Prithvi 2.0 at SPK Jain Futuristic Academy

SPK Jain Futuristic Academy hosted its much-anticipated Science Spree, Prithvi – 2.0, on 22 November 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools across the city in an interschool science competition based on the futuristic theme “Bharat in 2050.” Students showcased their creativity and scientific temperament through innovative models and projects across three categories: Category A (5–7 years), Category B (8–10 years), and Category C (11–13 years).
Our students made us immensely proud with their exceptional performances. They secured the 3rd prize in Category A for the project “JFA Digital Eye Shield,” the 1st prize in Category B for “JFA Environment Guard,” and the 2nd prize in Category C for the project “JFA Cognidrive.” Their dedication, teamwork, and scientific curiosity truly shone through each presentation.
The competition was evaluated by esteemed judges — Dr. Saini Das, faculty at Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT, and Dr. Abhishek Adhikari, HOD, Mathematics, Presidency University. The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished principals from renowned schools of the city and the Chief Guest, Shri Babul Supriya, Minister of Information Technology and Electronics of West Bengali, whose words of encouragement added great value to the occasion.
Overall, Prithvi – 2.0 was an inspiring and enriching experience for all participants, offering a platform for young minds to explore, innovate, and envision a brighter future for the nation.

SPK Jain Futuristic Academy proudly hosted Diplomacia 2025 — Kolkata’s first-ever interdisciplinary forum on diplomacy, law, and citizen rights — on August 6 and 7, 2025. This pioneering youth initiative brought together bright young minds eager to move beyond textbooks and engage in shaping the future.
Our students enthusiastically participated in dynamic simulations designed to enhance leadership, strengthen legal literacy, and instill a strong sense of civic responsibility. SPK Jain Futuristic Academy celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with reverence and enthusiasm, honouring the timeless legacy of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The campus echoed with soulful Rabindrasangeet, expressive dance performances, dramatic enactments, and heartfelt recitations of Tagore’s works. Students displayed exceptional talent and deep appreciation for Bengali literature and culture. The event served as a beautiful reminder of Tagore’s influence on art, music, and education. Through their performances, students not only paid tribute to the Bard of Bengal but also embraced his message of harmony, creativity, and cultural pride.

SPK Jain Futuristic Academy marked a historic moment in the city’s educational landscape by inaugurating Kolkata’s first Montessori Teacher Training Centre in collaboration with the globally renowned Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), Netherlands. The event celebrated the academy’s commitment to hands-on, application-based education and empowering educators from the grassroots. Distinguished guests including Principal Jayita Ganguly, Secretary Mr. Jaydeep Patwa, and AMI trainers like Ms. Kamini Kapoor, Ms. Aparna Iyer, and Ms. N. Dunn shared insights on the transformational power of Montessori education and the need for well-trained, empowered teachers to shape young minds.

Orientation Program at JFA!
The new academic year began on a high note with an engaging orientation program for our new teachers!
The event commenced with an icebreaker game, where our teachers introduced themselves and shared a little about their backgrounds.
Our Principal, Dr. Jayeeta Ganguly, warmly welcomed everyone and shared insights into the vision, mission, and values of Shree SS Jain Sabha and JFS. She emphasized the importance of empathy, growth mindset, reflective learning, teamwork, transparency, and professional integrity in our teaching practices.
A thought-provoking video highlighted the value of integrity and honesty among teachers.
Our HR team then took the stage to brief the new joinees on essential policies and procedures, including the code of conduct, reporting incidents, dress code, employee wellness, leave policy, attendance policy, and disciplinary procedures.
To put theory into practice, our teachers participated in a group activity, tackling real-life scenarios they may encounter during their tenure at JFS.
Our IT Head demonstrated the digital resources and infrastructure available to support teaching and learning.
The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the excitement and enthusiasm of our new team members!
